Si les cartes à jouer, images pieuses puis au XV° siècle quelques incunables sont les premiers supports des imagiers, l’enluminure d’art au pochoir trouve avec l’affiche un nouveau support d’expression. Ainsi, une des premières affiches mise en couleur au cache et à la brosse annonçait en 1527 le mariage de  François 1er.
Je me devais de mettre en couleur mes propres affiches, d’après un manuscrit français du XV° siècle.
Exceptionnellement pour ce sujet, le trait a été imprimé en offset d’après mon travail calligraphié.

If playing cards, pious images, and then, in the 15th century, some early printed books were the first media for the popular picture painters, the stencil art illuminator found with the poster, a new means of expression. As such, one of the first posters coloured by screen and brush announced the marriage of François 1st in 1527. Exceptionally for this subject, the trait was printed in offset faithfully reproducing my calligraphic work.
